The working principle of pallet flow racks is as following

Advantages of pallet flow racks :

We place the pallets on the rollers from the loading area and let them “flow” towards the discharge area driven by gravity. The pallets glide from Top to Bottom and when first pallet is unloaded from the system, the pallet behind it will move forward one position. This process continues until the lane is empty or indefinitely if pallets are kept being loaded into the system. We can also control the speed of pallets by the type of rollers and the dampers were considered into the system, once the speed is too fast, the damper screw is fastened, then the flowing speed will be set back to normal.
